Originally, sewerage is under the jurisdiction of the local council. When the Federal Government under Mahathir authorised the privatisation of sewerage under Indah Water Konsortium, we were charged separately for sewerage as well. Since this service was taken away from the local council, there should be a rebate in our house assessment. This was not done. So we are slapped with double charges.
Can the Selangor State Govt do something about it?
