Hello Khalid Ibrahim, where's your Land Task Force Report? Sarawak can register a land deal in one day. How about Selangor?

He said the department recorded some 120,000 land transactions with a combined value of RM13.3bil last year.

Goldchan, where did you get the billion dollar deal from?

Sorry I mistaken the question. What I mean is land will cost lot of dollar (not billions. maybe millions), and yet it was registered within 1 day. Don;t you think it kind of a bit too fast. Don;t one need to triple check it as land is a sensitive issue.

It's been quite a while back but I remember New South Wales was just as fast. Speed of transaction is very important to generate economic activity on land sales, which helps with State revenue. I would imagine an honest land administration will want to clear land matters fast, not that I am suggesting that Taib Mahmud's outfit is honest. But fair's fair. If they performed well, they deserve our genuine praise.
