TEMERLOH: A group of orang asli from Kampung Sungai Buan, Rompin, is seeking
to quash the state government's approval of 407.3ha of land in its village
for development as an oil palm estate.
The group filed an application for judicial review through Messrs Rama Rozi
& Associates at the High Court here.
Legal manoeuvre: Kampung Sungai Buan bomoh Majid Jaafar showing a copy of
the affidavit filed in Temerloh yesterday. With him are fellow villagers. -

Also present were 40 villagers.
The villagers named the Pahang director of Lands and Mines, state
government, Orang Asli Affairs Department director-general and the Malaysian
Government as respondents in the ex-parte application.
