So, who is investing who?
Is it for the easy money they are after or real genuine investing?
Don't get me wrong I'm not anti-Lego!
My house have lots of these colorful bricks, but I'm just cautious about companies claiming to be investing in Bolehland and asking for Fed gomen loans.
This one sound like the proposed RM6.1 billion Space Science University of Malaysia story where it may received financial assistance from the government when the plans couldn't 'take-off' as anticipated.
RM500 million is a lot of plastic bricks that maybe worthless when the world economy come crashing down next year.
Moreover, theme parks in Hot Tropical Climate don't do well, especially the dry ones.
Hey, even Disneyland in Paris and Hong Kong struggling.
And to think Hong Kong is next door to China's 1.4 billion population.
If these guys are so sure that Lego theme park is good business, I am sure they will be able to get funding from lots of other foreign investor who should be as keen as them!
Thus no need to tap this Bolehland's fed gomen for fun...err funds.
BTW I also think, these days, the price of LEGO toys are beyond lots of ordinary Bolehland's citizen.
