Three Pakatan senators sworn in

KUALA LUMPUR, July 6 — Three opposition leaders, one each from DAP, PKR and PAS, were today sworn in as senators for a three-year term.

The swearing-in ceremony took place before Dewan Negara president Tan Sri Dr Abdul Hamid Pawanteh.

They are DAP vice-chairman Tunku Abdul Aziz Ibrahim, 75, Penang PKR secretary Mustafa Kamal Mohd Yusuff, 56, and Kelantan PAS Dewan Muslimat executive council member Mumtaz Md Nawi, 37.

Tunku Abdul Aziz and Mustafa are first-term senators while Mumtaz is appointed for a second term. — Bernama Malaysiatoday....
